I'm an avid fan of the show, so after searching for a dedicated thread and coming up empty, I figured I'd start one to talk about how good or bad the current season is doing.

better in every way than Entourage. The writing is fresh and always interesting, and the characters you actually care about. Same can't be said for Entourage, or most of today's comedy shows. How was Entourage and Family Guy possibly nominated for an Emmy over season two of Californication? Completely baffles me.

What did you guys think of the first episode of season 3?

From my point of view, the opener seemed a bit weak. The season looks solid, but I suppose it can only go up from the opener.

i just got into watching this show, havent fully watched the last seasons but i am pumped for this one, pretty good opener, looks like a solid season ahead

like with any show for me I'm just happy they keep putting seasons out lol, so for me it was great. That biking part was awesome

By no means was it the best episode, or anywhere near the best episode. But keep in mind, it was the season opener. The whole point of it was to introduce the characters that will play a major part in this season (like Ashby last season). I think that it is going to be a great season

Behind dex and weeds this is my 3rd favorite show

Yeah it is, I hope we can get 6 or 7 seasons out of it (more if they want

New poster for the 4th season. Still not really sure why Hank is in handcuffs and needs a lawyer and all that. I haven't seen the 3rd season in awhile but I thought Mia wasn't going to press charges and even admits she led him on so nothing should really happen to Hank law wise. Maybe I remember it wrong though.

Wow - a decade with no discussion about this show? I mean, it is bad, but not that bad, right?

The writing goes significantly downhill after season 3 and it becomes borderline unwatchable, but I stick around for the timeless zingers that couldn't be made again today.
