Just an FYI: Amazon is now offering $10 off when you pre-order Up and Monsters, Inc. together. To me, that beats a steelbook.

Official Thread

Buy Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray] and get Monsters, Inc. (4-Disc Edition) [Blu-ray] at an additional $10.00 off Amazon.com's everyday low price.
+ Buy Together Today: $44.98

$46.48 for both is an unbelievably good deal; I wonder if Best Buy will offer something similar, seeing as both Pixar releases will be available on the same day (I hope they do; I want to keep the UP! steelbook I bought yesterday )

Looks like Monsters Inc. is still $34.99 at BB; this may remove them from all consideration if no incentives are offered.

They made the adjustments with this offer on my pre-order, awesome.

So the deal from Amazon is $44.98 - $10= $34.98 plus their FREE Super Saver Shipping?

That's what you call a Badazz Deal!!!

Screw the SteelBook!!!!..just kidding. But really not even Black Friday will even come close.

It would be *ahem* badazz if that was the case, but it's not. Normally, it would be a total of $54.98 if each item was ordered separately, but when ordered as a combo, $10 is discounted from the final price. $44.98 for both is a heckuva deal, and I just placed my pre-order a few minutes ago.

I'm still keeping the UP! steelbook from BB though.

Well it's still a great deal. Plus I do like how BB gives you the BD Case too!

Damn! I had both UP and Monster's Inc pre-ordered separately but then added them together after I read that you'll get $10 off. When I went for checkout, I noticed that the total came out to be $36.48. I was like wtf? I looked at the breakdown and I had a 'Snow White Thanks' promotion. What was this? Was it the price decrease from $24.99 to $14.99? I am so happy for this. Now if the prices of these two disks go down by a few dollars, I might get them even at a cheaper price!!!

Even though I preordered it from Best Buy, it ended up being much cheaper for me to take advantage of Amazon.com's deal. I preordered Up and Monster's Inc. for $56.48 and they knocked $10 off. Then they also gave me an additional $10 off because I bought Snow White through them. And I recently traded in some DVDs and they gave me an extra $10 coupon to use towards any Blu-Ray purchase. So my final total from Amazon for both films will be $26.48. Even when you add the $7.50 Steelbook ($33.98), I doubt any store will have a deal where you can pick up both for less than $40.

Does anyone know if they're releasing the 3-D version anywhere? I missed it in the theater and kinda wanted to see what it was all about.

Nope it just added a little more depth to the film. The clouds stood out as well as the house. It felt a little surreal. Very great experience.

The retailers down south have go it right, they know how to market product and sell. Here Canadians are get ripped across the board on Blu releases and sellers counter any rebates that come up. Recently, Up's release was selling at $30 bucks at BB and Futureshop while being $20 in the US. When the Disney $10 rebate came out both BB and Future raised their prices to $35 to counter the discount. Just incredibly dumb and sickening. Amazon Canada just plain sucks for Blu and their prices are nuts....Up "discounted" to $37 from $52 is laughable!!!!. I wonder if the folks at Disney are aware of what retailers here like BB, Future and Amazon are doing. Really killing the market for Blu. If anyone knows of fair prices for Up or other blu releases please notify the board. I think many are in the same boat as me and are being turned off Blu by ridiculous pricing.

There aren't any. I still paid almost $30 even with the $10 off coupon.

I got mine at Blockbuster with the $10 coupon and it came to just over $25 taxes in. It was the most I ever spent on a blu-ray, but well worth it! And now that I see the complaints around here, I see I didn't make out too bad...
