Thought I'd present to you those albums that I listen to most often, and (quite frankly) never get tired of listening to.
I have all of them on vinyl and CD, plus a few on SA-CD. But the format doesn't matter, it's about the music. Here we go: 1. Rickie Lee Jones: Rickie Lee Jones (self-titled debut album) 2. Pink Floyd: Dark Side Of The Moon 3. Supertramp: Crisis? What Crisis? 4. Paul McCartney: RAM 5. Dave Brubeck: Time Out 6. The Beatles: The Beatles (White Album) 7. Roxy Music: Avalon 8. Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life 9. Mike Oldfield: Tubular bells 10. Fiori-Seguin: Deux Cents Nuits a l'Heure So what are yours? No crapping on anyone's selection though. These are personal choices and you have every right to enjoy them as you do. John |

Nice choices you have there QM and very different from what we'll see down the line. I've always been a fan of The Small Faces and OMD, so I like what you selected. And what can one say about The Yardbirds that hasn't been said a thousand times. Thanks for posting buddy! ![]() John |

Great thread idea! Here are 10 of my favourite albums, in no particular order:
* Jeff Wayne: Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. * Dire Straits: Love Over Gold (except the title track; if I was hard-pressed I'd probably say that Telegraph Road was my favourite song, period). * Jean-Michel Jarre: Equinoxe * Mike Oldfield: Tubular Bells * Mike Oldfield: QE2 * The Human League: Dare * Jean-Michel Jarre: Oxygene * Mark Knopfler: Local Hero (OST) * Dire Straits: Making Movies * Prokoffiev: Lt Kije (Fritz Rainer conducting the CSO) And many more, depending on my mood at the time! |

You know. I forgot my probably all time favorite off my list and I cannot believe it.
Frankie Goes to Hollywood: Welcome to the Pleasuredome I also have to agree with the Metallica: Master of Puppets. I won it in vinyl at a carnival when I was a kid. Boy, I wish I still had access to my old albums, but they are probably long gone along with everything else I left at my mom's house. |
