Default Samsung clouding HDTV

I've been hearing about clouding on HDTV's where the backlight poorly lights up the screen, causing a cloud effect. I'm wondering, what causes this exactly, is it having the backlight set too bright, or just general wear and tear of the TV?

I assume there is no fix other than sending it off for repairs?

I and others have kind of a theory. When _______ (pit company here) manufactures there tv's they tend to screw everything in so tightly that it can bend or put preassure on the lcd panel which can cause flashlighting or the clouding effect. Some people have had luck loosening the screws on the sides and back others can't seem to fix the issue at all. Some have said that lightly rubbing outside of the the flashlighting area reduces it but you take a risk making it worse. Do any of these things at our own risk. All LCD's have some flashlighting or clouding. It just depends on how much you can live with and if your lucky you won't get any at all. You can see my thread here https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=122632 of what I have had to deal with with Samsung and flashlighting. Mine wouldn't go away and I had to get the panel changed multiple times. I have a really good one. at least I think I do you never know, but I am happy with it now. Hope that helps.
