Default Oldest movies on Blu-ray

What are the oldest movie released on BD?
I know "The General", "Wizard of Oz" and "Gone With The Wind" are one of the earliest films. Can you list some more?

Thanks. Any more?
I also remembered "It's a Wonderful Life".

I wonder if it's possible to sort list of BD films of blu-ray.com by film's release date?

Oldest movie would be the Buster Keaton film 'The General' (1927).

EDIT: Sorry for some reason I missed your mention of this in your original post.

The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) is another that springs to mind.

Default What's the old movie on BD?

I was thinking last night after I ordered Gone with the Wind UCE, what's the oldest movie to be transfered onto BD? I know both GWTW & WOO came out in 1939, but is there any older film/movie on BD?

Thanks,
Bryan

Sorry if this a repost!

You're all wrong. The oldest film on Blu-ray is A Trip To The Moon (1902).

That movie didn't hit BD till 2-1/2 years after this thread's last previous post. Talk about necroposting...

Either Sunrise or The General

Both are from 1927.

Kino is coming out with a couple of older titles rumored for some time in 2010:

Metropolis 1927
Our Hospitality 1923
Sherlock Jr. 1924

Masters of Cinema from the UK are coming out with a couple of old titles on Feb 22, 2010:

M 1931
City Girl 1930
