PS3 USB Ports - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, quick question for everyone. I just got the PS3 Slim for Christmas, which will be replacing my current 60GB model. I have the Guitar Hero full band game (2 guitars, drums and microphone). With the slim only having 2 USB ports, how am I able to connect the individual instruments? Would a USB hub work? If so, could someone point me in the right direction of one that is compatible?

Gamestop sells a things that fixes that. Im not sure how much it is, but i wouldnt think anymore then $20. But anyway, u plug it into one usb port, and it has like 3 on it.

Do regular USB hubs work? Always wondered myself..

A hub would work, but some of the guitar dongles have 2 additional ubs slots. I know for sure the GH WT band kit came with one.
And Redoctane sells one if you have a World Tour or Les Paul guitar

I am in Canada and have a 60gb myself so dont need this but found that Best Buy Canada has the following, Best Buy in the U.S. should have it as well:

Nyko Media Hub+ (PlayStation 3)

I picked up a 4 port hub on Amazon for around $10. Works fine, only issue is that sometimes the instruments default to controllers 5, 6 and 7, but that's an easy fix by holding the PS button.
