I follow Robert Heron from HD Nation, distilled water with a microfiber towel
if you need a little stronger add 30% rubbing alcohol, spray on to the towel not the screen. works great for me.

i second the distilled water trick it works like a charm just spray some on a soft cloth like the type you clean glasses with dont use to much. id recommend using canned air to blow of the dust frst bc some of the dust can be abrasive if u rub it into ur screen

Alcohol on LCD= bad. you may have great results from it at first, but over time it will damage the screen. It can damage the coating, and dry out/crack the plastic after enough use. Especially with a mixture as high as 30%.

I agree with you, best not to get fingerprints at all but if you need a bit more power a one time use may be necessary if distilled water is not enough
or do have a better idea
