Watchmen Ultimate?

Thanks. I did a search and a bunch of crappy threads came up about double dipping and complaints about price.

I just wanted to know what people thought, not a bunch of complaints about the film, and 1st day buy for me crap. It's $50. Gonna research it beyond one review and see what everyone thinks.

I thought the film was brilliant. I also liked the Black Freighter included because my thinking is when will you ever get around to watching that by itself? The Ultimate cut kills two birds with one stone.

I agree with this sentiment.

I loved the movie and am a fan of the book, so it was a no-brainer for me to pick this up, on top of the Director's Cut. The Black Freighter footage is nice to have included in it, but imo the film doesn't really need it. But it was nice to watch and see it edited into the film, kind of a novelty more than making a huge impact to the story. And they do try to fold into the narrative well. I've only watched it once so far tho', but I'm sure I'll watch it again on some lazy summer day. It's nice to have the Motion Comic Blu-ray handy too, but honestly I don't ever expect to watch it, not while I have the graphic novel to read instead.

I haven't seen it yet so I can't really offer much input () but I've wanted to see Watchmen. I'm also a big of a sucker for limited editions of film (I'll always buy those versions over just the plain theatrical ones) so I imported it.

So far he only thing that has put me off watching it so far is the fairly substantial runnig time. I rarely have that amount of time free
