France Halloween II (2009)

Looks like the theatrical cut in a custom orange case.

http://www.amazon.fr/Halloween-II-Ro.../dp/B00344F5XQ

Anyone know if the studio "Wild Side Video" locks their releases?

I'll crap myself a dozen times over if this means I can finally watch the theatrical cut in my U.S. PS3...

I think most of their releases are Free, but they force French subs with the original track.

It is actually unclear if the theatrical cut is present--in all likelihood it is, but DVDRama points out in the Bonus section that the Blu-ray presents the Director's Cut footage (16 minutes longer), but only in English audio, which would automatically infer that you would end up with forced French subs on those 16 minutes. Whether or not the subs are forced for the English audio outside of the extra DC footage is still unclear.

Well, when I use Google Translate on DVDrama's text, it says: "Besides the fact that there is...an HD transfer, the main attraction of this edition is based on the fact that it offers us the Director's cut of the film (16 minutes longer but only vost[?])."; nothing in the rest of the text provided seems to make any reference to the theatrical cut at all, so I'm inclined to think we were all misinformed and this is like every other BD of this title released in the world to date--inferior director's cut only. I hope against hope that the forthcoming Austrian release, confirmed to offer the theatrical cut, is region-free/region A-capable.
