Default Favorite Drummers Thread

Mainly, this is a thread dedicated to our favorite drummers. It can be from any genre besides rock: jazz, hip-hop, etc. So here are some of my favorites:

Buddy Rich
John Bonham
Keith Moon
Neil Peart
Bill Bruford
Carl Palmer
John Densmore
Terry Bozzio
Phil Collins
Stewart Copeland
Mitch Mitchell
Charlie Watts
Mike Portnoy
Alan White
John Rutsey
Nick Mason
Chad Smith
Ian Paice
Ginger Baker

Remember, this is a favorite drummer thread, not the best drummer thread. Besides all that, what are yours?

You know, since your avatar has Animal in it, I've heard that Keith Moon was the inspiration for Animal's crazy personality and drum skills. Just saying.

Keith was known as being a bit of an animal on drums. Under a Raging Moon is a Great tribute Track from a great album of the same name by Roger Daltry (it includes performances by many of the great rock drummers):

I doubt Nick Mason has any technicality, nor speed and power like the other drummers you've mentioned.

No doubt he's known for his fast speeds on his hi-hats. HE was a bassists' greatest dream, and Sting was glad to have him by his side in The Police.

Anton Fig is one of my favorites and is sooooo underrated! He plays with David Letterman's late night band but he used to be in Ace Frehley's solo band in the 80's. What's so cool about him is that he kind of plays drums slightly on the backbeat. Here's a great video of him playing on the song "Breakout" and he has some good moments!!
