Pirates Of The Caribbean Blu-ray Question

I would like to purchase these movies on bluray but I have a few questions

1.If I buy them seperately will I get all of the Extras that were on the dvd release because the Spiderman Trilogy on Bluray had the extras for the first two movies removed?

2.Is It still possible to get the Bestbuy Steel Book Cases in Best Buy Stores?

I don't know these movies had Steel Books

1. all extras are there
2. best buys should still have some steel books (at least mine did)

I have not tried to compare the special features cause I don't really care about them much, but yes they do have the steel books in the store (Best Buy).

My best buy had several copies of each steelbook about a week ago. I was lucky enough to get them to price match the steelbook price for the sale price of $14.99 for the regular versions. Steelbooks have all the extras.

I have a question too. I have these on DVD...is it worth the upgrade? That is... is the difference THAT massive?

The reason I ask is because the POTC DVDs look great upconverted and I would like to know to know how much better these films will look on Blu-ray. I'm only interested in upgrading the first movie since the last two, I didn't really care for that much.

PotC blu-rays are reference quality. They look amazing... and the PCM tracks that are on the discs are unbelievable.

All Extras Are still there and I Been to about 6different BestBuys and They all have The Steel cases for all three films.

And an exaggerated statement and many reviews mimic it. Just bought it for $14.99 at Best Buy today. While it looks great, the difference between the BD and DVD copies doesn't pop out as much as other movies do. I've double-dipped on The Dark Knight and The Bourne Trilogy and the differences popped out at me. But POTC....it didn't have the same effect. It does look good indeed, but Disney Blu-rays don't seem to be as sharp as Blu-rays from Paramount, Universal, and Warner.
