Anyone else like being alone in the theatre?

It doesn't happen often but it happened today. I was the only one at the 2:30 Alice in Wonderland. So I did stuff I never do, I changed seats a lot, I even got up a few times and watched the movie standing. Wish I could see more movies at the theatre alone, I think it enhances the experience.

Hmm..ya I have been alone..It is rare but it's nice to not have any distractions. As far as standing? I can't say that I've watched a movie standing lol but you're an odd one, Stormcrow.. I'd do an occasional stretch but that's about it.

I went to the last showing of Tropic Thunder when it was playing at the regular theater in Hilo and I was the only person there at 10 o'clock at night showing. It was the 4th time I had seen it, too.

The first and only time I've done that was opening weekend of Punisher: War Zone.....that should have been a warning.

It was fun, I actually called my brother was was describing to him what was going on.

I have been in a theater with less than 5 people before but never actually been alone as yet....I actually don't mind seeing a movie with less people, less people acting stupid

Yeah. That's why I've invested in Home Theater.

I do crazy things when I am alone in theaters.

That includes jumping, screaming, throwing Popcorns all over the place, and even .

i've never been alone in a theater but if the opportunity came along, i would prefer being alone w/a lady friend....

About that though,

I actually had two 14 years old kids kicked out of an auditorium, in which they thought they were alone but didn't see the old lady in there.

Let me just say, when I got the complaint I walked in, and still today I am having nightmares by what they did in Herbie Fully Loaded.

i saw Funny Games by myself and the only other people in the theater were two old ladies who walked out about a half hour in. it was awesome.

was thinking the exact same thing when i read the title of this thread. unfortunately my wife likes to be there too get a few drinks in her and she talks non-stop. shell text on her phone and ill have to rewind a scene or two. by the time i get her to settle down ive blown my chances of getty any

Dude it was.

The sad thing about it, is that I caught them nude from the bottom half. It was and still the most disgusting thing I have seen.

I even called the cops not only because I was disgusted by it but also because its company policy to do so before filling out an incident report.

It was disturbing.

Their parent weren't happy about it. (entire incident from what they did to me calling the cops)

They came in the theatre about a week later, and my boss had them discuss it with the home office instead.

haha how was watching the movie standing up... ive watched a movie all alone before but never stood up and watched.. I'm going to try that next time it happens

It was good, walked back and forth a bit too. Honestly the hard chairbacks and concrete floors are uncomfortable so getting up was pleasant.

I've never done it before, the walking around. I usually only get up if I absolutely have to use the bathroom and I think that was only the third time I've been the only person at a viewing.
