Czar you hate whitey don't you lol, you managed to cover every single ethnic sitcom ever made, yet left out most of the 90's most popular, out of all the TGIF shows which where hugely popular all at the same time, interestingly only Family Matters made the list. Yet left off Boy Meets World and Full House. But you included the Wayans Brothers?!?!?!?! Czar, I'll never understand you.

Naw man it aint like that. Did u look at my list? U see all those "whitey" shows as u call it? I mean man u got Three's Company, Alice, Gilligan's Island, Mr. Belvedere, Brady Bunch, Married with Children etc........ many more. I like what I like. I never got into Full House or Boy Meets World. Also I never really watched Family Matters in its original run. I was out partying back then on friday's but I got hooked on FM later on reruns and whatnot. There are some urban shows I didnt care for also like All About the Andersons, Sister Sister, Half & Half etc.... Again it just depends. The Wayans Bros. was a funny show. Marlon is very funny. Shawn was ok but Marlon & John Witherspoon carried that show. Overall if u look at the list, it has its share of great "whitey" shows as u call it. Got Em!!

Im 37 man. I believe Family Matters started in 90 right? I was then 17 so yes I was out fondlin the high school chicks hahahaha! But naw man no hate, I think we good after we had our "rap" discussion. U got to remember depending where u grew up and things of such people may have diff taste in things. All I ask is dont hate on sumthin if u dont like it or didnt grow up on it. Doesnt make it bad but just might not be your cup of tea. I mean man I got Green Acres on my list! Very nice list. We have similar taste. Also I did bold some that arent on my list as they didnt make my top 50 cut, but sitcom's like the Dick Van Dyke Show & Beverly Hillbillies are still very good and I do enjoy them.

Soap is a great sitcom. I havnt seen it in ages but remember it had a great cast, very raunchy and starred other people who were also on other sitcom's. Love the mom from Who's the Boss on Soap, she was hilarious. Got Em!!

CZAR, i love this post!! so i'm bumpin it with my own rankings.

keep in mind, guys, i was born in 1986, and also it's good to know that I LOVE tv, hope to write for a tv show some day, and truly watch almost all sitcoms that are on today (until i decide whether i like them or not...and i usually give them at least a season to decide)

lmao, and i agree with a previous poster about you likin those shows with a Black/ethnic cast...perfectly fine with me though...you like what you like, and that often has to do with how you are raised and what you watch growing up, and who you are. even though to me a lot of these shows are not up to qual with a lot of my faves (with 'whitey')...lmao that post just cracked me up, sorry!!!

oh, and i've given all the old shows a shot, but honestly they were before my time and not too many make the cut. just the facts of life!

note that i also don't include shows like Monk or Psych, i consider them a different genre than Sitcom...i put them in the same category as Burn Notice, Chuck, etc....action/comedy, etc....not sitcom.
