E-mailed Universal Au to check when exactly the BD/DVD would be available, and so August 25th is the day. They also said that the Blu-ray is "fully loaded with exclusive bonus content including BD-Live, U-Control and an I-Phone application to download bonus content"

It'll no doubt be cheaper and out much quicker in the us and uk.

I rarely, if ever, buy from overseas. I'm hoping they change the date to an earlier one. Network Video answered in their questions page that it would be out on August 4, which is obviously a more reasonable date, but I don't know how reliable they are.

You really should, you cqan usually pick up blus for half the price (if not more) then what they cost here.

Good to be given a release date. For some odd reason, this film did not come to my City, even though trailers were shown, and posters were up.

I'm guessing it'll come, just later then the official release date (it sometimes happens with non blockbusters in Australia if you live in a smaller town as well). Luckily I don't leave in a small town.

According the EzyDVD it's coming out a week earlier August 19th. I have my pre order in.

Good to hear. August 25 seemed so far away, and although it's only a week earlier, all the better. Would like to throw in my own pre-order too, but as much as I love it, $40 is way out of my price range. Ridiculous what Ezy charge for new releases.

You'll be able to pick it up for $30 on its release day.

The UK are apparently getting a SteelBook. Universal also released SBs for Wolfman and Green Zone both here and in the UK. Hopefully, an Aussie Kick-Ass SB is not too far behind!
