Finally got in kingdom of heaven from amazon today. I have to agree with what everyone on here said, the pq and sq are freaking amazing. Seriously would put it in my top 5 for pq.
Also this was the first time I watched the directors cut, this movie should have got much better reviews than it was given when it came out in theaters. It really made me want to play assassin's creed....

Anywho sorry to take your time with this, but I highly recommend this to anyone who hasnt watched it yet.

i know i watched this movie when it came out on dvd but i don't remember if it was any good? someone refresh my memory.

It was very good, good enough that you should go buy it........NOW. For a refresher it took place during the crusades, (orlando) has to protect the city of jerusalem or however you spell it.

Buy it on Sept 18th!!

I didn't think much of this one the first time, same as a friend. But he gave the director's cut a shot and said it was amazing, so I picked it up on blu. I agree, the film is waaaaay better now(definitely one of my best BD's) and PQ and SQ are unreal.

Just remember, the BD is the director's cut and is a totally different from the DVD's thetrical cut (more like thetrical butcher). IMO, if the DC is 10, the TC is about 6 (yes it's really missing that much).

Completely agree with the white haired wizard above... ^^^

The directors cut of this is superb and there's just some scenes in this that will blow you away.. was my first BD and even now still stands up to almost all of the latest offerings and if your lucky enough to have a big ol' screen then the detail you get to see if at times is just staggering.

now what you waiting for... go and get it, watch it and prove me wrong..

I have had this movie since about March or so on Blu. It is the Directors Cut, which is much better than the theatrical version. Its just over 3 hours long ( on 1 disc thanks to Blu ). Yep, one of my favorites on Blu to date. Its also in DTS HD master lossless 5.1 audio - however my Pioneer Elite rcvr simulates it into 7.1.

I ordered this yesterday from amazon buy 2 get one...now I can't wait to get it!

let me know how that is, I enjoyed this movie for the most of it, some scenes were eh, but I think it would look awsome in blu.

I have Hellboy, it is good, I especially like it cuz I can watch it in 5.1 PCM German or English.
