Default Kingdom of Heaven

Need some help on this Blu Ray. I bought it at Target due to a price cut, but there are no features listed on the back. I have the 4 dvd director's cut and I am curious to know if all the features from there are included in the dir. cut of the blu ray?
Otherwise I might have to keep the dvd.
Thanks for your time and any info you can give.

It's a barebones release. I don't even think there's a trailer on the disc.

The film looks great on bluray, but if you enjoy extra features keep the dvd. I tend to never watch extra features, so I purchased it on blu.

Best thing to do is to buy the Blu-ray, but keep the DVD collection for the special features. That way, you get the amazing PQ and AQ along with all the hours of bonus material.

agreed, don't pass on the blu just for some special features you already have. The blu is fantastic in the PQ/AQ department (which is what really counts.)

one of the best PQ blu's i own.

if special features outweigh top-notch PQ and AQ, then keep the DVD.

The Blu-ray looks and sounds massively better than the dvd. Fans of the movie need to buy the current Blu-ray.

4 disc DC SD DVD set is probably more than the price of the BD. Just get a good price for the BD, keep both, and you will be set.

I can't fathom your indecision to keep KOH on BD just because it lacks special features.

All I can offer you is this advice: Please don't get rid of the BD!

The PQ and AQ are stunning. This is one is among the best of the lossless audio that I have in my collection.

Couldn't agree more. I love the movie, and its technical aspects are incredible. The siege of Jerusalem scene is an audio spectacle.

No extras on the disc. I remember when I bought my blu-ray player, they gave me Kingdom of Heaven for free and I was excited to check out the special features. Alas none reside

Yea I got it there for 17.99, used the $5.00 coupon that popped up for fox titles and then my discount since I work there. Got it for $11. and change.
Im not getting rid of it, just wanted to know before I got rid of the dvd since I am trying to make the wonderful expensive transition of what dvd's to keep and ones to sell or trade in. Thanks for the input guys.

could you point us in the direction of this coupon, if it is something available publicly. i was planning on picking this up from Target, but an extra $5 off would be great.

It's part of the system kinda like Winn-dixie. Whenever you shop at the store after the receipt prints sometimes it also prints a coupon. It's not because you buy a dvd or blu ray. At that time I had actually bought cat litter and it came up. Even though I work there I DO NOT know a way around that system either sorry . The coupon expired on 3/31/09, but normally on the store coupons they regenerate late with a different receipt.

The cut of the film on blu is slightly shorter than the DVD version... they just took out the intermission ente'acte etc. so no biggie. Sucks that there's no extras.
