I have just rented this from Lovefilm and whilst I obviously don't have the case it does have a "B" printed on the actual disc. Of course this doesn't necessarily mean it's locked...I've recently bought a few Disney BD's which state region A on the box but are in fact region-free!

I think it's Region B locked.

If you take a look here on the Blu-Ray.com website, you will see it states that the UK release of this title is Region B (Locked).

I watched the UK Blu-ray last week. PQ is very good. I'm not sure why there is a 4 min. difference between the region B and region A releases, but I was a little surprised by Gemma Arterton's nude scenes after seeing her recently in Disney's Prince of Persia. She does get to do some real acting in this movie instead of simply look hot (in fact, she's rather de-glamorized). The ending doesn't quite live up to the first hour or so of the movie, but I would still recommend it.

Do you think it was actually her - or a body double - there seemed to be some clever editing I thought when viewing EXTREMELY closely !

Could have been a double for some shots, but not all of them.

I’m surprised there was so much forum discussion on the indie movie "Frozen", but there isn’t much talk about “The Disappearance of Alice Creed”.

I mean, “Alice Creed” received much better reviews from people and critics alike than “Frozen”:

Metacritic:
Frozen = 43
Alice Creed = 65

Rotten Tomatoes:
Frozen = 61
Alice Creed = 80

I’m just looking for some forum feedback on Alice Creed because, like Frozen, I never heard of it until I saw it featured as a trailer on a newly purchased Blu-ray disc.

Is Alice Creed an awesome movie?
