Resistence or Warhawk? - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought Warhawk a few days ago, and I gotta say it's a really fun game, and I understand all the hype...but I still think Resistence is more fun. The controls are better (although the motion sensing thing is really cool once you get used to it), and I like the online play better. Those of you who have played both, what do yout think?

Resistance's multiplayer never pulled me in but I love the single player campaign, especially on the second play through on top difficulty.

Warhawk's multiplayer has grabbed me for an extended period of time like few others have.. Team Fortress Classic 1.5, SOCOM 1, Counter Strike Source

pretty much exactly the same words for me.

although i feel comparing them isnt really fair, as i see them as completely different games.

I really haven't been a big fan on on-line - UNTIL THIS FRIGGIN GAME. Now I'm just afraid I've been spoiled .. and others are going to have a hard time matching the playability of this thing..so I'm going to enjoy this for quite some time I think..every other game is on hold for the next while..

I can't wait to see what they do with the new Socom. Now THAT I would love to play online. I will rent Warhawk sometime to see if I like it or not.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however i think i would play Warhawk more than Resistance. Res is more of the same standard issue FPS death match. As a ex core PC gamer, I know Res, just copied what has been the staple gameplay for PC gamers for almost a decade. Basicaly we've played it a million times over. It gets old after a while.

Warhawk is the only game i know that alows online Dog fights. It's pretty fun if you find a Dog fight only stage, but I started to get used to the foot game too. I guess it not too bad for me, if the game has some aspect that take out the "same old, same old" out of gameplay. Though I would admit that even with Dog fights Warhawk does not offer much variation, it will only be a matter of time till your sick and tired of it.

I think overall resistance is the better game. Im playing warhawk now because ive already played countless hours of resistance. Plus ive had way too many problems getting disconnected from warhawk servers, and finding servers for CTF is a pain.

In all do respect, I have much prefered to play Call of Duty 3 over Resistance since the lauch of the PS3.

I bought Warhawk the other day and must say it is more impressive than COD3 and I will probably trade in Resistance on the new SOCOM or Kill Zone.

The one thing about the Halo series is that you play against these gay little creatures and that just drops the realism of the entire thing. These new PS3 Halo killers are a lot more realistic as you play Mano-a-Mano.

I always felt that Resistance was boring.. wondering where
the jeeps and tanks were.. made me feel like multiplayer was busted.

Bout the stat thing same thing happened to me in Resistance execpt
they were gone for what appeared to be a month.
