I think it's funny that films keep getting made where people cap off as many rounds as they want in small rooms and can still hear... it's like the filmmakers forgot that firearms are LOUD

Looks very well done but a little too crazy for me

Thanks for the film recommendations. I plan to watch Merantau this week since it is on NF instant. How would you compare Indonesian cinema to Thai cinema? Not a huge fan of Thai due to horrid acting and horrid acting

. I think I unjustly grouped Indonesian & Thai cinema together.

I saw this (with the original score) in September. The director was at the screening, with two of the stars, and he even asked the audience to not take the movie too seriously. It's a decent action flick that doesn't try to be anything it isn't. A rollicking good time!

This is an easy 10 out of 10! Best Asian action movie I've seen since Ip Man!

It's a foreign film but, thank god there's little talking in the film

The script was probably 10 pages

Awesome flick and the Claycats is fantastic as well (recommend watching Claycats after watching the movie)
