I'll probably get The Lion King 2. I haven't seen it in a little while but I remember really liking it. I think it's the only Disney DTV sequel I'll add to my collection by choice (instead of by default like The Fox and the Hound 2), although I'm thinking about Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, too.

Good to know. I want these, but didn't want to buy the big box in order to get them. Now I can just buy the regular Lion King release and wait for these. That makes things easier.

for the price I have the trilogy preordered on amazon, its cheaper to keep the trilogy for me then to wait on the separate releases, since chances are even one of them will be more then what I am paying for the trilogy set

I'd rather pay a few bucks more and not have to deal with the horrible, horrible trilogy packaging. It's just aweful from a functional standpoint.

I'm not sure what you mean by "stick out," but I thought the white text on the spine is lost into the light blue background. When I glance at the shelf I can't even read that it says until I look a little closer.

You didn't notice that amoung disney's other movies, most of them are darker colors, rich reds, dark skies, trees, or dark blue/black? When you put these movies next to the other ones, even the other lion king, they look funny. The only other exception I give that sticks out like a sore thumb would be Winnie the Pooh with the white spine.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, they are brighter than the rest. I keep my DTV sequels seperate from the canon Disney films, so I guess it's not as noticable for me.

DMC has these at $24.99 each or $34.99 for both which i think is a great price.

I'm not a member of DMC, do they give out exclusive lithos different from that of the main title? I ordered the main Lion King from the Disney Store with the litho that came with that one. Just wondering if I should finally take the plunge into DMC. Thanks.

Yes, The Disney Store gives out different ones. There was a post in the Rogue One thread where someone had all the different ones.

I Don't get why The Lion King and Lion King 2 are $19.99 at Best Buy and Lion King 11/2 is $24.99.
