I felt the same way until I ordered it from DMC club recently. Glad I did I really enjoyed it

At first I planned on getting the whole trilogy but ever since buying the first Lion King film I have been debating of whether or not to get Simba's Pride and TLK 1/2 as well. I mean they were entertaining films for what they were but they definitely weren't as good as the first film, IMO.

I think I'll go with this one since it's brand new and cheaper... Thanks for the heads up!

Kinda sad they didn't just do a double pack release like they other Disney sequel sets recently.

I guess they think they can make more $$ this way.

I agree. I did a blind buy with Lion King 1 1/2. The only way I would buy that again with a DC is in a combo pack. That one sucked.

wow... Those are some really ugly cover arts. Kind of a shame since the old ones looked great.

Unfortunately no, the new blu-ray of Bambi 2 has been a new disc (the four Games, included in the 2011 released, has been missing of the 2017 released in DMC). Has been the chance has been the same thing of the sequel of The Lion King.

There's not reason to think there are new transfer, audio streams, or bonuses of any significance added.

It's coming out of the vault with a new Shirt and a digital copy
Ha ha ha!!!

"They left the games off..."

"...everything of significant consequence..."

It's exactly how I feel. When I was a newbie to DVD, that would've fascinated me. Now, I just want the video content.

The only reason I'd want this is if by some miraculous reason One by One is in HD this time. Somehow I doubt that's going to happen.

DMC has these at $24.99 each or $34.99 for both which i think is a great price.

I'm not a member of DMC, do they give out exclusive lithos different from that of the main title? I ordered the main Lion King from the Disney Store with the litho that came with that one. Just wondering if I should finally take the plunge into DMC. Thanks.

Yes, The Disney Store gives out different ones. There was a post in the Rogue One thread where someone had all the different ones.

I Don't get why The Lion King and Lion King 2 are $19.99 at Best Buy and Lion King 11/2 is $24.99.

They probably figure they'll make the money back with all the extra sales of the first two, but that #3 isn't as popular enough to warrant a price drop. It did come out 10 years after the first. At least with Simba's Pride, it was only a 4 year gap and could catch at lot of the same audience. That or Nathan Lane is in higher demand and it's simple economics?

(These are just my theories.)
