Question What is your favorite old movie?

What is your favorite old movie? Or what is the oldest movie that you love the most? I hope that makes sense.

By a long shot my favorite old movie is from 1962, To Kill a Mockingbird I wish it would come to blu-ray disc! There is not a single movie older than this that I love nearly as much and I mean not even close!

Favorite old movie? "Lawrence of Arabia," 1962.

Oldest movie that I love the most? "Metropolis" 1927.

I hope that makes sense.

Do you love Metropolis or Lawrence of Arabia more? That would be the answer I was looking for.

Going for "Lawrence of Arabia" then. "Metropolis" would get the honor of being my favorite silent movie, but I don't love it quite as much as "LoA."

I hope so at one point! My DVD is not bad but it's not great either and I am sure a Blu-ray would look so much better

I can not pick just one........
Bringing Up Baby
The Best Years of Our Lives
The Wizard of Oz
Gone With the Wind
Citizen Kane
The Bells of St Marys
Shane
Casablanca

Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur, West Side Story, and so on.. I do not consider these old movies.. because I saw these in the theater.

So if there is not a movie that is older than City Lights that you love more than City Lights then City Lights is your favorite, make sense?
