Default So has anyone actually tried scratching a blu ray?

If so is it as good as said?

I know there are some out there that would try this but it sure as heck won't be me. I would never intentionally scratch a disc I own whether it be CD, DVD, HD DVD, or BD. No thanks.

From what I've read Durabis was not used on any of the launch titles. However a different hard coating is used which I had read at least one comment on another forum where an owner said it seemed sufficient.

What I have done is cleaned several BDs with a paper towel. This would leave hairline scratches on any CD or DVD; this didn't happen on the BD, and while cleaning it, the BD feels much "harder" and more "slippery".

Hard to describe, but I would definitely say that the hardcoat works.

thats great news that they'll be more scratch resist especially since its going to be very hard to back them up in any way, so if they get scratched your out of luck.
