I just saw this for the Canadian release of Game Of Thrones.

Best Buy U.S. has this packaging, plus a different version with a different character on the front. I'm sure Future Shop will get that one too.

I believe it's just a different slipcase (or maybe slipcover) featuring the House of Stark Sigil.

The DVD version has the Targaryen Sigil.

No tins

Wish I knew. I missed it when Best Buy put them out because I was just starting the show and knew nothing about it.

Hey Tiger. If you could a little measuring for me I would appreciate it. What I would like to know is, if I trimmed a little bit off the Targaryen DVD slip, would it fit on a blu-ray case of GoT?

It would fit if you use the Stak edition only, the Greyjoy and Lanister version are thicker. The logos on the spines would still be offset but it should work.

Game of Thrones is written on the edge of the slip it cannot look like the very same + the dvd logo on the spine.

Tough call, I live with the dvd as it is, these are useless as they're not my watching copies.

Like you said I might just order the DVDs and live with them

Hopefully they will release a season on blu-ray with the Targaryen slip!

This is the same set that was sold last year.

It was revealed that they used a George Bush mannequin head in the scene where Joffery was showing Sansa her father's head.

It was then edited out using CGI. All of the unsold, unedited sets were withdrawn, and now the edited set is all that is sold.

Whether FS is releasing the Stark slip with the edited set, or they are just releasing old stock, I'm not sure
