Anyone not own Pirates of the Caribbean yet? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,

The Pirates of the Caribean movies are top notch quality transfers and both films have 2 disc Blu Ray releases. They are fun with lots of replay value.

And,.. now is a great time to pick them up because you can get them both for $12 shipped from Amazon dot com.

If anyone has waited - I would say now is the time to buy these great Blu Rays. I don't think you will see them this cheap again. Also many other Disney titles are on sale not only at Amazon but also at the usual local shops (Best buy, Circuit City, FYE.) Check the hot deals forum for more info.

POTC and the sequels really didn't appeal to me that much to warrant a purchase.

I actually just bought both of these titles today since i've just gone bluray and best buy is having a BOGOF sale...can't wait to watch them and ill probably go back and get a couple more while the sale is still going on

I only have the second one on BD and the first on DVD

I haven't seen the third but will be buying it anyways on BD!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl was a wonderful movie; I only think people think ill towards it when lumping that movie with it's sequels. If it had no sequel(s) to lessen the impact of it, there is little doubt that the first would be thought more highly of than some people are so now doing.

I got Pirates 2 like 3 weeks ago, and got Pirates 1 at Best Buy for free cause if their buy one, get one free promotion (Thanks BDA!!) I also pre-ordered Pirates 3 over the weekend.

...haven't seen any of them yet though.

That's funny, I fell asleep in the theatre during part 3. I NEVER fall asleep during movies. Needless to say, I don't own any of the POTC movies and probably never will.
