Anyone not own Pirates of the Caribbean yet? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,

The Pirates of the Caribean movies are top notch quality transfers and both films have 2 disc Blu Ray releases. They are fun with lots of replay value.

And,.. now is a great time to pick them up because you can get them both for $12 shipped from Amazon dot com.

If anyone has waited - I would say now is the time to buy these great Blu Rays. I don't think you will see them this cheap again. Also many other Disney titles are on sale not only at Amazon but also at the usual local shops (Best buy, Circuit City, FYE.) Check the hot deals forum for more info.

POTC and the sequels really didn't appeal to me that much to warrant a purchase.

I actually just bought both of these titles today since i've just gone bluray and best buy is having a BOGOF sale...can't wait to watch them and ill probably go back and get a couple more while the sale is still going on

I don't even like them but I'm gonna pick em up for the hell of it. Chics tend to dig it and if you're having guests or something someone is bound to like it.

I now own both POTC. I had only owned POTC 1 when I picked up my PS3 a few months ago. I took advantage of the deal and got POTC2 and Enemy of the State. I am looking forward to POTC3, especially since the fiance loves Disney, I can only hope this leads to approvals for future blu-ray purchases

I don't believe I have seen them for $12. Only $14.99 for select movies. All the others are B1G1 for $24.99 or $29.99. Check the Hot Deals forum for more information.

Last I checked, both Pirates movies were at #5 and #7. Anyone see who was at #6? Transformers... hahaha Pirates... been out forever, and still winning! Damn HDDVD... You need some salt for your wounds?

Amazon has them for 23.99 or something buy one get one free which adds up to under $12 shipped for each of them.

I know becuase I bought them today for the $23.99 or whatever it was.

both potc movies are ahead of tf atm. Hopefully we can keep this up and see the two potc's at the top of the weeks numbers!
