United Kingdom What is the best storage unit to have?

Hi guys just after so advise i am currently looking for a new unit to house my blu-rays but not having much joy ideally i would love something like this:

http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Prod...er/9326943.htm

However i would like it to be a taller unit, i like the idea of pigeon holes as it has more support to hold steelbooks, i cant seem to find anything online what sort of storage do you guys use?

Like you, I wanted tall units. Ended up buying two of these from Amazon and liked them so much I bought 3 more. Not quite as tall as I'd like but taller than everything else I could find and each one holds 378 Blu-rays. With a collection of over 2000 Blu's and growing I needed something like these.

Liked them so much I bought 3 more so now have five in total ready for future expansion.

They are available in other woods and delivery was VERY speedy even with the free shipping. At £90 I think they're great value but they do take a few hours to put together.

If you want some pictures of them populated let me know.

Those look killer man.Only thing I'd do different would be to have one shelf slightly bigger for those special editions.

Thanks mate. The 4 shelves up from the bottom are higher than the 5 shelves above them by 20mm each, to accommodate for special edition blu packaging, dvd's and games. It's hard to see that the 4 bottom shelves are higher in the photo because of how I was standing when I took the shots.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Snooloui, the shipping would cost more than the shelves, lol.

Nofro, by American standards they were expensive, however I can't speak for the UK or Europe. They cost me AU$1315 for each shelf plus $95 delivery which I thought was very reasonable, that price is close to standard for large solid timber (Tasmanian Oak) shelves here in Australia. In fact based on what I saw from months of looking for suitable shelves, they were cheaper than most.

I don't get everyone's obsession with open shelving. Everything just gets dusty. I prefer Sauder #2650 cabinets. I have 7 of them, all pretty much full at this point. I wish I could get those drawer units the right size for DVD/BD (like you used to see behind the counter at rental places), but those things are ridiculously expensive for simple dressers with drawers the right size for movies.
