Default I love Blu-ray

Hey everybody,

I just want to thank all the cool people that are into BD. I'm a pretty quiet person, but today I went to Best Buy to pick up the Spidey Trilogy. I was totally chatting it up with other people in the Blu-Ray section. I told one guy about the trilogy, he thought they only released spidey 3. Then me and another guy were talking about how it was so awesome that Best Buy expanded their BD section to an entire aisle with 5 sections, plus another section just for Spidey. HD-Dud was just 3 sections. Then I talked to another guy about how the news today is that Warner might go BD exclusive.

Anyway, it's just so awesome that BD people can meet each other in the BD section and talk up a great conversation.

P.S. - Only one person was in the DUD section and they promptly left after we started talking loudly about how DuD is a lame format.

I had some friends over to play games, and they started talking about 2001 since it was rereleased on DVD. They didn't know about the Blu-ray, so I showed them. They were so flabbergasted that they instantly started proclaiming their love of the format! LOL

I had some coworkers tell me how great HD DVD was because they all got the 360 Addon with the free movies. I then told them to enjoy Spider-man on HD DVD, they all looked sad.

So did you go to the Everett Best Buy? I was in there today to pick up the Trilogy as well, when something funny happened. While at the Spidey display I overheard an employee telling a phone customer that Spiderman 3 is not available on HD DVD. You may ask why would someone call in and ask...well on my way to BB, there was a radio commercial stating that Spiderman 3 was available on DVD, HD DVD and Blu ray. I just chuckled when I heard it. I believe that person on the phone probably heard the same commercial. I just thought it was amusing!

I went to the Bellevue one. It's actually closer to me. That's a funny story. It's going to be crazy next year when Lionsgate, Fox, Sony and Warner open the floodgates. HD-DVD won't have anything good.

I actually live closer to the Bellevue store as well, but I work near the Everett one.

Hi, I heard the same ad today on the radio. It was from Fred Meyer annoucing they had SM on DVD, Blu and HD DVD. They can't get it right. They way I looked at it was the uneducated customer is going to go to a Fred Meyer and get a rude awakening, but may end up getting on the Blu team.
