Never heard of her until now, there is apparently a sex tape of her:

Did you know that Lisabeth Salander was based off of Pippi Longstocking?

Anyway, I would definitely buy a Blu-ray of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (I saw it many times on a recorded VHS tape when I was younger and even saw it in a theatre as a kiddie matinee when I was 7).

Wow, Tami Erin grew up to be smoking hot!

It's been years since I saw the Pippi Longstocking movie, but I always remembered the theme song. It was just so catchy.

That IMDB-photo of Tami really looks like Noomi Rapace

Anyway. I'm Swedish, so I grew up with the books, naturally. I think everyone in Sweden did, haha, and the Inger Nilsson TV show. I was only aware of there being an animated film and TV series that was outsourced to Germany as well (Lindgren denied Miyazaki from making one, but went with that instead... aiaiaaaaa). That Americanized version really does look rather bad though.

There was another Swedish version in '49 soon after the book came out, but it was a bold move for the US to tackle the story first:
