Zack Snyder directed my top 2 comic/superhero movies of all time (mos, and watchmen), so I definitely appreciate his work. Can't wait for 2016

Watchmen was sick, didn't feel great about MOS though. I hope batman vs superman is amazing. Zach is the man for great visual imagery, now a great writer is needed.. Just my opinion tho

Whedon at the top I agree Snyder might not be the best but Whedon? All those other directors from your list are way better.

I think its unfair he gets labeled by some as a 'shallow' filmmaker just because he trims all the fat out of his movies.

Thats one of the reason Zack Snyder films are so re-watchable. The pacing is always solid with few if any scenes that slow the film down.

Zack's one of my favorite filmmakers right now. I enjoy all of his films. Man of Steel, Sucker Punch, and Watchmen are among some of my favorites.

IMO he makes movies that are awesome to look at, but the underlying movie itself usually sucks a big fat one. IMO MoS is the only good movie he's made to date.

I'm guessing Zack Snyder hasn't responded to your fan mail yet then? Don't worry, one day he'll love you back...

I've like all the movies I've seen from him. Including MOS and Sucker Punch (Which to me is vastly underrated, and i don't use underrated or overrated much)

Really happy Warner brothers entrusted Zack with kicking off the DC Universe on film.

That also means he gets to choose all the costumes for pretty much all the characters. And based on his record, thats a great thing.

Hopefully studios give him another chance at writing another original film after hes finished with Justice League

To me he's still at his peak and I hope he can stay there because so much is riding on him as far as a strong and successful DC filmverse is concerned.

Some people are worried about him burning out doing Super hero films by the time he reaches Justice League. What they're not considering though is that Justice League will likely be the first time most of the heroes outside of Superman and Batman get any real action. Its not like hes Nolan Directing 3 Batman movies in a row.

Another thing. For DC to give the go ahead to Justice League they must have read the Batman vs Superman script and really loved it. Im sure Zack pitched his Justice League idea in there too.

People keep giving Zack a hard time, basically saying he gets to keep making more hero films for Warner Brothers because Man of Steel made money, not because it was good. He cant win can he? I mean he makes a much better Superman film then Superman Returns, and to some people thats still not good enough. And Superman Returns wasnt a bad movie at all.

I don't want be sounding pessimistic, but a lot of lousy films have been greenlit of the back of other films, for example, the first two Pirates sequels, they had the third film which went inti production without a finished script because they were striking while the iron was hot.
