Default Halloween: The Curse of Thorn (2015)

I'm not sure if this thread already exists, but I came across this on IMDB... another Halloween movie is coming out next year.

Taking place between Halloween II (1981) and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), this film will bring back The Shape, good scares and will connect the entire franchise in this completely fan-funded feature.

This is fan-funded? How come we never heard about that?

at this point, might as well do a "Buddy" Halloween movie and have both versions of Mike Myers team up, maybe go on road trip, stalk each others version of the Strode/Myers family.

Who the hell is going to fund a fan film?

I swear really. I've said it before and I'll say it again. These people need to start making their own things! One thing to make a short fan film, But a full length feature is another. Especially when it's something they don't have copyright too.

I understand people are fans, but they need to realize stuff. I mean that is if their not thick in the head.

Yep. Even if they got funding their effort to make the film would surely be thwarted by the owners of the property.

I started to watch a Star Trek fan film because people said it was good and it had actual Star Trek actors in it. But when they tried to explain the absence of every character who WASN'T going to be in it, I turned it off.
