Here's the trailer for the new movie Kristy. Thought I saw a thread on here before. I know the title of the movie changed a few times. So if there already is a thread about this. Please just merge this with that.

Suddenly, confronted by a gang of violent outcasts, Justine’s quiet long weekend becomes one long lesson in survival as her and her classmates are terrorized in increasingly bizarre and brutal ways, leaving it up to her to figure out who her attackers are…and if they can be stopped. “

Looks like a fun slasher. Hopefully it turns out to be decent, I miss those (decent) fun horror/slasher movies.

I've been looking forward to this. I love Lucas Till. Found out about the film through his imdb credits but it's titled Random. Also, is the lead female Ashley Greene? That looks nothing like her. EDIT: nvm the lead female is Haley Bennett lol

This looks pretty decent. It's been a while since I've seen a good recent slasher film. I know a lot of people enjoyed You're Next, but personally that didn't do much for me. It's kinda overrated, IMO. I definitely plan on checking this one out.

A couple of sites claim the German Blu is Region Free... Can anyone confirm region A playback for me? I'd appreciate it.

ALso, I trust the 3D edition is probably a cheap conversion done for the foreign market?

Did you watch the trailer? It literally says that whoever is doing this, calls their victims "Kristy."

I've literally been waiting for a physical release of this since it came out. Where the heck is Shout, Arrow, Vestron, or even Mill Creek when you need them? I'd pre-order this on Day 1.

I bought the German blu ray. The movie has a physical release.

I don't recall if I've checked this thread out before, but I came across it a few days ago and was reminded of the German Blu-ray release of Kristy. Did I know about this German release before, after the first time I looked at Hysteria Lives' review a few weeks ago? I don't know. But after looking in this thread a few days ago I had a look at the Hysteria Lives review again (they were very positive about it).

Will see if I can get a copy of the German Blu-ray release (it's possibly had a 3-D Blu-ray release in Germany also (if it did, I can't recall if I'd seen a discussion thread in the 3-D Blu-ray sub-forum here).

Off-topic, but I hope Crystal Eyes gets a Blu-ray release (Hysteria Lives gave that slasher a very good review also).
