A 007 steelbook collection could be problematic for a collector.
They have to be reasonably priced, the release dates staggered sensibly (not too often, but not too far apart - Even 2 Bond steelbooks a month would take a year to collect the whole set) and if they don't sell well enough, the 007 collection would just stop without ever being completed.

easiest thing to do is to release one older and one newer the same month and work from opposite ends towards the middle, that would (to me at least) be the most sensible way to sell them and get a collector to buy them all...perhaps even have a special deal

The only way I would even considering buying these is if they used the original poster art. The photo shop stuff they use currently is terrible.

Yeas I agree,I remember the first wave of DVD's were like that - 20 each or 2 for 30 in the late 90s

horribad.

I think I'll go with the 50th anniversary set the next time Fox has it on sale for less than $200.

Not crazy about the idea of using subpar artwork...twice, on the front and rear. I do like the interior artwork. For that reason I'll bite when the £9.99 bin price hits.

Let me remind you all, this is the original UK Theatrical poster art. And it is damn better then the shoddy blu-ray art we have now for these Bond movies.

Default Goldfinger - Limited Edition Steelbook

The best bond film gets a steelbook treatment but the price is very high.

I've never imported a Steelbook/any Blu-ray before, but this is my all-time favorite movie so I may order this despite already owning the Amazon Steelbook from a few years ago.

Just a quick question: does Amazon UK ship to the US, or do I have to buy from a scalper or group buy? Thanks in advance for any help.
