A 007 steelbook collection could be problematic for a collector.
They have to be reasonably priced, the release dates staggered sensibly (not too often, but not too far apart - Even 2 Bond steelbooks a month would take a year to collect the whole set) and if they don't sell well enough, the 007 collection would just stop without ever being completed.

easiest thing to do is to release one older and one newer the same month and work from opposite ends towards the middle, that would (to me at least) be the most sensible way to sell them and get a collector to buy them all...perhaps even have a special deal

The only way I would even considering buying these is if they used the original poster art. The photo shop stuff they use currently is terrible.

Not digging the art...

Will probably pass altogether on this... unless it bins out on Amazon. Under £9 is my price point New Bond Steelbooks are going to be an expensive endeavor.

Pass as well. Why use the same artwork on the back as the front. Not keen on the Aston Martin blueprint inside artwork either.

So many iconic parts of the film they could have used.

I would actually buy 007 steelbooks if they used original art. Wouldn't mind if they were the landscape type. I never grabbed the complete collection box set so I'm up for an upgrade.

Yeah, pass.

I'd probably get them all, but the artwork, no. Don't like the art much anyway and then having the same on the back again just seems ultra lazy.

Yeas I agree,I remember the first wave of DVD's were like that - 20 each or 2 for 30 in the late 90s

horribad.

I think I'll go with the 50th anniversary set the next time Fox has it on sale for less than $200.

I think I'll have to pass unless is gets substantial cheaper. Not completely bowled over by the art, but if the gold actually looks like metallic gold, might be kinda cool. Picked up the GoldenEye SB for £8.99 at Zavvi recently, which I think is about right for a price point on these titles.

I would have bought it if it was totally gold or was showing a golden finger.
