I knew you'd post it Akajima - You saw it pretty quick too
![]() I saw the photo and knew it in a heartbeat. Actually I heard through the grapevine it had been coming but had to sit on the news as always ... Great film, great choice, so glad it really is happening !! ![]() |

You're killing me, Smalls! So many good Kino releases this year, and it seems as though I've been seeing a great new announcement every day for a couple of weeks.
This one looks like another solid winner, and a creepy black-and-white horror flick. |

This film is a small gem, one of the best of the period. The suspense sequences are handled very well, and the performances are excellent. Margaret Johnston is both darkly amusing and completely terrifying! This should be a slam-dunk blind buy for those into Lewton/Tourneur-type films.

There was a decent commentary from Matheson that graced the laserdisc release, it would be very cool if they could secure that as an extra.
I missed a return flight from Ohio to Boston in 1979 because this was playing on Dayton TV and I would not leave for the airport until it ended, I was so impressed with it ( ended up taking a later flight ![]() |

Burn, Witch, Burn released on Blu-ray sure makes me happy. Been waiting on it and Village of the Damned (1960), two of the best early 1960s horrors. I used to watch them on late night TV when I was a kid in the 1970s. I think VOTD is with Warner, so who know when we will get that one.

Hello everyone,
could any of you confirm if the blu-ray is subtitled (English or French) ? It would seem that it is not (in which case, I will probably refrain from purchasing it - it would make no sense to buy a film you would not be able to understand easily), but it would be great to have a confirmation. Thanks in advance ! |

Really enjoyed this classy ol' school subtle supernatural horror. With it's atmospheric/gothic look and a cool looking crypt/cemetery area. My 'cup of tea'!
Professor Norman Taylor (Peter Wyngarde) seems to be having success on the college campus. Does his wife Tansy (Janet Blair), who is practicing magic have something to do with it? Is someone else responsible or... |

If you enjoy any of the films mentioned earlier by The Great Owl (The Innocents, Night of the Demon/Curse of the Demon, and The Haunting) or Black Sunday or The Devil Rides Out, you owe it to yourself to give this one a shot. |

Yeah this is a real gem. Dated and corny at times but it really kicks into high gear in the third act. Margaret Johnston brings the house down with her performance. It's so strikingly modern.
