Watched the first episode, but every subsequent episode sat in my DVR until last night when I deleted them and cancelled the series recording. I enjoyed the show, but with my limiting schedule, it just wasn't good enough.

I'm close to doing the same. I feel the Batman connections is actually a hinderance on my part, I would probably enjoy it more without all of that.

Yeah, really hurt the last episode when you know some characters cannot possibly die, yet there's one in a death trap. It just becomes "how will they get out of this" instead of "can they get out of this"?! Other than that I have dug the show which is rare for me, despite it's wrap it up in 60 minutes formula.

True, I knew he wasn't going to die simply because he has to be around in the near future when Bruce grows up.

But the show is mostly about Jim Gordan, not Burce Wayne. Jim is the only character to be in every single episode so far.

Every episode of the 1960s Batman was built around that. You knew they weren't going to die either. No one minded then, and I didn't mind now. If anything, I thought it was a cool nod (intended or not) to the old show.

It's getting good now. The most recent episode which was on Monday night was awesome, and next week will introduce Scarecrow and you'll see Beuce beginning his journey into becoming a hero (as far as the previews showed).

If you stopped watching, this is the best time to start again.

The episodes from 1/19 and 1/26 were also really good. You get to see how Bullock feels about Fish, and you see Valcone be a badass.

the price looks for me fair. No problem with the price. It has 20 episodes so might $ 2.70 per episode. Its cheaper than HBO's Game of Thrones blu-ray which has only 10 episodes.

This will be $20 around Christmas time like most shows. They always start at around $40 and than drop to $20 around the Holidays.

Like others have said, it took me 5 episodes to warm towards seein a young Gotham, which is somethin we don't even see in the batman films except for like 5-10 mins (correct me if I'm wrong). Always wondered how Gotham was ruled before/during young Bruce, Jim Gordon's lives, so this naturally caught my eye

One nag I have, I like the idea of young Poison Ivy, Selena Kyle (Catmwoman) but it kinda bugged me that characters like Harvey Dent were young adults, I always thought Harvey and Bruce were the same age (grew up on the animated series)

Overall it's a good show and I enjoy Peguin's arc as well

Definitely will pick this up!
I agree. The show has actually grown on me with each episode. In my opinion, creatively its the best new show on television. Everyone seems to love "The Flash." To me, it feels far more "small screen" than "Gotham" which feels more theatrical in its writing, set decoration and photography. Far better show in my opinion.

They better keep its time period stable and get enough episodes in the can to keep the continuity with audiences or people will stray...

That's what I'm thinking. I like this show, and want it on BD, but I don't $40-like this show.

Started watching this the first few weeks and then just kinda stopped. It's pretty cool though, I do like the cast.

Pass. This show should have been canned in its first half, not be given a second season. It relies solely on who the people are going to become rather than just telling a great police drama.

It's been discussed before I'm sure, but any chance this show will eventually link to the DC Cinematic Universe which began with Man Of Steel?

I'm pretty sure they said that the TV universe was separate from the cinematic universe (at least this is the case with the CW DC shows but I'm guessing Gotham and Supergirl is the same).

Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow = One Universe
Gotham = Different Universe
SuperGirl = Another Different Universe
