Great News! If my math is right this might be the 10th film in the Indiegogo package I bought.

Are those extras confirmed for the US version too? If they add anything new I'll re-buy it. I don't know if they'll bother, but the UK disc is a couple years old so I figure in this case they might (unlike the other discs they've re-released in the US).

I hope that Arrow will get around to Jack Hill's SWITCHBLADE SISTERS someday. They've certainly released many of his films.

I imported the UK version quite a while back, looks FANTASTIC! I love this movie, way better than what most people would expect. I'd like to have this since no rating code will be on the newer artwork. Then again, I always use the UK flip-side with original artwork and no rating code anyway. Hopefully at least a couple new extras are added, I'd for sure get it then.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre has a lot of parallels to Spider Baby.

I just saw him about 7 weeks ago and he seemed frail but certainly not sick. He even discussed the filming of Beyond Atlantis and how it was the worst shoot he ever did.

What's weird is that my UK Arrow import is region B locked, yet this sight claims it's both region A and B locked. That means it should play on my regular player, correct? It doesn't.

Edit: Holy-schnikes. It read that if you push Top Menu it does play and they are correct! Awesome!

Saw a tweet today from Dread Central saying there was a remake of this on the way.

I'd welcome a remake of this classic.

To speak about another movie, if that one would have been remade, then perhaps the original wouldn't have been tampered with. I'm talking about Star Wars. Even after the endless changes, and endless changing continuing to happen with that trilogy, even if a remake is implicated, those who would have really loved to have gotten the original trilogy on DVD/Blu-ray/UHD. Then again, people want to be stubborn to new ideas. A new idea to make another movie into something potentially good for today's audience, maybe it's a good thing. Not claiming that Spider Baby has been tampered with. Just giving my two cents.

I didn't know this film existed until I saw it on the schedule on TCM in October of last year. It only caught my eye because Carol Ohmart was who they chose for the still for it. Then I saw Lon Chaney Jr. was in it too. I waited till November to watch it and like several films I watched last year, I wished I had seen it sooner.

While I personally wish this wouldn't get a remake, I do wish more people knew about the film in general. It can be strange and uncomfortable at times, but thats part of its charm. I really can't wait to get my hands on the Arrow blu-ray of it.
