When I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you.

One of the baddest dudes on the planet deserves his own official thread here on the forum, so here it is. The following will be a list of Blu-rays available and those scheduled for a release. Feel free to also use this thread to discuss and compare the current releases of his movies and let us know if you find out there's a new movie being released in the near future, to help keep the list below up to date.

This is how it works:

If there's no flag next to the title of the movie, it means it has been released in America and possibly other countries as well around the world. If there is a flag next to it, it has been released in that country and perhaps a few other ones, but not in America. At the moment, the following kick-ass Chuck Norris movies has been released in and/or outside of North America on Blu-ray:

I used to always check out the LA Times Calendar section on Sunday when they had full page ads for upcoming movies. So, I see an ad for Chuck's flick, "Hellbound", opening the next Friday. And then, the next week, it didn't come out. Does anyone know anything about this? Pulled from theaters before release because of Cannon's downfall? I've never seen another movie advertised to be released in theaters that was cancelled like that.

HELLBOUND (1993) was supposed to be released Jan 1994, but fell victim to the bankruptcy of Cannon Pictures and proved to be their last production. It came out on VHS in the US about 18 months later, although it hit UK video shelves Summer of 1994.

The really weird thing is they had it coming to theaters up until days before. I know Cannon pretty much went down long before.

Funny that both Chuck and Arnold fought the Devil in action flicks: Hellhound and End of Days, and played themselves in hero-worship fantasy action films: Sidekicks and Last Action Hero.

Good Guys Wear Black (1978)

This came in from JB-HiFi a few days ago. The picture is pretty good, but the soundtrack is a bit beat up. I don't really have the vocabulary to describe audio stuff, but the sound seemed 'phased', like all the dialogue and sound effects are over a bed of white noise that increases and decreases in pitch. Some scenes are worse than others. I wonder if the DVD has the same issue. Anyway, glad I have it, haven't seen it in years.

My most wanted blu of Chuck's, with The Hitman in close second. As far as I know The Hitman has never been available in widescreen on any home video format.

I don´t know. Kino Lorber hasn´t got the rights, Twilight also.

I asked Olive films on facebook but didn´t get an answer

I emailed Shout! asking them if there are any extras at all on the Braddock release and they confirmed there are none. Bummer.

Guess I will stick with the Spanish region-free release I bought last year.

Oddly, the trailer for BRADDOCK is on the INVASION USA Shout disc.

I will say, having seen both Shout's INVASION USA and BRADDOCK, Shout seems to have cleared up their encoding issues. Like NO WAY OUT, both transfers have high bit rates and look very good, especially INVASION USA which is a newer master.

I have it but knowing me won't watch it for weeks. If no one else comments on it soon though I'll load it up and do a quick summary of the PQ. I'm sure it looks the best the movie will ever look on disc though.
