Default Blu-ray on Netflix

Lost was listed as DVD on my queue. Then I deleted from my queue and they all showed up as Bluray. But Rush Hour 3 only shows up as DVD (I have my account set as Bluray being the first choice.) What the Heck?

They probably wont be getting it or dont have it. I have the same option on my acct and i asked for rescue dawn and they sent me the DVD and just happens that was all they had no blu listed on thier site. I had overlooked it I checked a couple days ago for the Harry Potters and all it was is DVD's no blu's either

I do not think there is any cause to worry... not now anyway. However, I have noticed that Netflix has only carried two or three of the last 10 or so Blu-ray titles. About a third of the releases. And those are the main stream, so called "Big Hits". Pirates, Die Hard... stuff like that. Titles that will sure to be big renters.
However, on the red side. They are getting everything. Everything! No matter how obscure. If it is HD DVD they are carrying it.
I noticed this a few weeks ago. Shortly after Netflix sent out a statement that while more people look at the Blu-ray offerings, they rent more HD DVD.
While, I do not in anyway think that Netflix is about to make a announcement that they are going with HD DVD over Blu-ray they do have to cater to the majority of their customers. If those renters are renting HD DVD over Blu-ray (for the time being) then Netflix has to make those allowances.
