Wow, I've never even heard of this! Looks quite nice.
Hopefully it shows up on the US, as I'm done ordering anything from AmazonCA.

This will be my first time ordering from AmazonCA. Have you had a lot of problems with them in the past?

Just my experience, but I've only done four orders and two were charged import duties, and three arrived totally smashed.
The only order that ever made it through sans import duties and damage was the Blade Runner spinner set, from the infamous price drop error years ago.

Damn didn't know this was all filmed in Quebec, Canada, and almost all the actors are from Canada as well. More reason to buy.

Must be why we are getting a Steelbook.

I received the steelbook in the mail today, it's very nice, looks great! Though the picture on the back looks a bit soft. It comes with a clear slip too, which has some writing/pictures on it, much like the Mondo steelbooks, really nice packaging.
Was busy tonight but can take a closer look at the disc and such tomorrow.

I got an email from Amazon.ca a few days ago with an estimated delivery date close to the end of the month. Are these delayed or is that just the standard travel time (I'm on the US East Coast). I ordered something from Amazon.ca more recently and it arrived in 3 days - I guess it depends on the carrier? (they shipped via DHL).

I also watched the film for the first time tonight, and loved it, definitely on my list of the top films of the year, stunning cinematography and a memorable score that I've had on repeat for the last week - for those interested:

The PQ was excellent, as was the AQ with it's pounding score and full sounding dialogue.
The steelbook is limited to 4000 according to Raven Banner, it's anyone's guess how fast it'll go, but thought I'd mention it.

I am very sorry if this seems like a stupid question in advance. Today I ordered this Amazon.ca steel book. I absolutely loved the movie and this community seems to agree this is the best version. Having never ordered a movie from Canada, will I be able to play this on my existing bluray player? I don't have a multi-region/region free player. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Canada is also Region A...same as US. No problem playing in a US player.

Just blind bought this. My wife and I loved it. The cast was superb, amazing writing and directing, and the score by Le Matos is perfect. I usually never rewatch immediately. I have watched it three times in one week. Just wish I would have found it earlier.
