So glad the UK disc came out first for once. Saves me a little.

Tommy Udo should pay a visit to whoever designed that spoiler-ific cover art, the squirt!

(It's not really a spoiler in the traditional sense, but it does ruin/reveal the most shocking image in the entire film for those who haven't seen it.)

Looks like they used the same exact screenshot from the DVDBeaver review of the UK import.

I'll have to see how the transfer compares to the UK release.

What kind of features does the U.K. release contain?

The UK release has one of the commentaries from the TT release. But the UK has a interview with Widmark from 15 yrs ago. Again it will come down to the transfer.

I can't see how they will be vastly different. It'll be the same master, any differences down to encoding. And both Signal One and Twilight Time usually have competent encoding.

I can also vouch for Signal One as well as their release of Kiss of Death. The PQ is very nice, and TT will undoubtedly use the same master. The Ursini/Silver commentary is a great one.

LMAO at the fact that they use that scene for the cover art. Hopefully, there will be some TT sales again this year

I'd really like to grab this, but can't bring myself to pay $30. Isn't TT more of a time exclusive? Is the a chance (preferably a GOOD chance) that will get released later by some else?

You wait long enough, and TT will probably include Kiss Of Death in one of their increasingly-frequent sales for $19.99 or less (provided it doesn't sell out in the interim, which is pretty rare for any TT titles that aren't 80's horror genre fare).

I'm gonna wait and hope it does. I'm willing to do $20 for it, $30 is more than I'm willing.

I'm waiting for a review on the TT so I can see how it compares to the UK. I'm sure there won't be a big difference but I still want to know.

I've got the TT, but can't compare to the UK.

Think it is going to be the rare collector that buys the UK then springs for a premium priced TT one.

Default Why is there no review of Twilight Time titles?

They grab these titles sometimes for years. Titles I was hoping some company like Criterion who I know will do an exceptional job with! The few that you do review don’t get high scores! I was upset when they got Suddenly Last Summer but luckily Indicator got it.

As for Indicators packaging was nice and reminds me of Criterion but some of it’s extras were eh!!

I must say that when Criterion includes extras they are the real deal and Indicators extras what what i would say are unusual but ridiculous. There must be better extras than Liz Taylor on a French TV with a loud french narrative as she gives her reaction to Montys death... laughable.

Criterion ... there is no other!

You bumped a year-old thread to talk about things completely unrelated to the thread?
