Default G4 channel to carry CES coverage

Just a heads up to anyone who has the channel G4. Starting tonight at 7pm ET they will be airing live coverage of CES '08.

not any longer. they are pro-ms, and since ms is not pro-hd dvd anymore i doubt they are going to talk positively about hd dvd. don't expect them to talk great about blu though, they will probably mention wb, but other than that its gonna be gadgets and MS LIVE downloads.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I want to see how they handle the news and what kind of spin they'll put on it.

Either I missed it, or it doesn't appear that they'll be streaming it. Too bad, my cable provider no longer has G4TV. Oh well, probably not missing out on much.

I doubt they will mention it. G4 is in the back pocket of Microsoft and have pushed HD DVD the past year. In fact their Friday show had a live segment after the Warner news broke and they didn't even mention it in passing. CNBC was broadcasting all day from CES today and was sponsored by NBC Universal. Not one mention of Blu-ray or the news.

Default CES Coverage On G4 TV

G4 is airing two 2 hour shows of CES coverage.

They will air quite a few times over the next week starting tonight, check your cable/satellite listings for times.

I'm watching right now. It looks like the feeling on the show floor is that HD-DVD is as good as dead (like we didn't know that already). But it's good to hear others say it.

Even the tech writer N’Gai Croal from Newsweek seemed to think it is dead.

did anyone catch it when they play a video viewer mail and this guy asked who will win blu-ray or dud?

olivia said blu but she also said some fud like whenever i walked into bestbuy there was only few blu titles and lots of hd-dvd's but that should change now since warner an new line went exclusive.

maybe she hasnt heard but fox, mgm, sony, columbia, disney and lionsgate and many more are all blu exclusive.

and then kevin said something like there isnt really a format because while poeple go to the store ofor a disk i just turn on my 360 and download a movie.

yea go download a movie and wait forever for it to download and you can only watch it in the first 24 hrs ou hit play and than its gone.

G4 has to be the most pro microsoft toshiba people on earth
