CES 2008 coverage - Blu-ray Forum

Mods,
Will or how will Blu-ray.com be covering CES 2008? Are there going to be real time posts of important information as the convention progresses? Will there be official posts made with news at the end of each night? What can we look forward to? Thanks.

Blu-ray.com will have three representatives - yours truly, Ben, and PeterTHX - at the show posting live. As soon as we learn something new, it should be a matter of seconds for it to appear on the home page. Blu-ray.com will be the #1 place to the most comprehensive news about Blu-ray at CES.

The CES show floor is open January 7-10 (some key notes begin early on January 6).

Great to hear! As a simple request while you all are there...let us know how the people at the Par and Uni booths respond to the question of when they will adopt the more profitable blu-ray format. Thanks and have fun out there!

Looking forward to hearing all of news asap regarding our format of choice here on Blu-Ray.com. Of course all we are all anticipating what Warner will say, I myself am looking forward to the future announcements made by Disney and Sony Pictures.

What happenes when you go there and turn the corner and see a group of HD-dvder, Toshiba, MS zealots. If they start something will it be like Jerry Springer with flying chairs and stuff or will you guys just walk the other way?

YES! Up to the SECOND coverage is great

Live coverage is great! Are you all going to do a thread where you just post stuff as it comes in or are you going to waste time and make a NEWS post about it?

I'd prefer a thread with all the tidbits - a locked thread where nobody but you all can post. Then a thread to discuss it. That way the nfo does not get lost!

Hey, I think it would be great if you also posted pictures with news posts, when necessary. Maybe some pictures of the show floor and your booth, that would be cool for us not going to the show.

There is a news submission form set up so we can easily post via our Blackberries. It won't take long at all to write a few sentences and post it up. You'll just have to keep refreshing the front page to see all the good news!

Ok, as long as you all have a system down so you can post info super quick on the fly - I am not telling you what to do or anything, just throwing out ideas
