!!!! I might have to buy this day one. Haven't seen it in many many years, but a family member brought it to the house during a holiday celebration and I loved it. I've always wanted to come back to it.

I just showed my DVD to some friends this past weekend! Now it goes to the trade pile! I hope THE CHEAP DETECTIVE won't be far behind.

I actually prefer The Cheap Detective, so I'd love that on Blu-ray, but the DVD looks very nice.

There's no shame. I also liked the Black Bird. It's owned by Sony, so there's every chance it could get a release too.

I have a hunch Twilight Time might do that eventually, if only because of the Jerry Fielding score (Nick Redman produced CDs of many of his scores and met TT's Brian Jamieson through the CD for The Wild Bunch laser disc boxed set). They put out Harry and Walter Go to New York and The Fortune, and they were both just as unpopular in their day.

Cool that this is getting the Shout Select treatment; never was 100% crazy about the ending, but love everything leading up to it.

Now, if only the TV film, Murder Can Hurt You, would get released to disc; that would really be thrilling.

One of my favorite comedies of all time. I was wondering when this would finally come out. The cover art is certainly an improvement on the DVD art but then again most anything would be.

Love this film currently not liking Shouts business dealings

The fact this has finally come to BLU

I can only think is it a dated Sony master?

Cause other labels have been interested in this film... makes me think it was past over ?!?!?

Would be nice to know if it is a new HD scan or not.
