Default Going to the doc/possible surgery rd.2

In march of this year I had excrutiating pain in an area of your body you don't want problems...yeah thats right. You know where i'm talking about.
Anyways...I was diagnosed with a Fistul Abcess and was scheduled for a surgery called a fistulectomy. (I guess it's pretty common) Well the surgery put me out of work for nearly 2 months.

Before and after surgery the doctor warned me of the potential of it returing if the wound healed over top rather than healing from the inside out. I took extreme caution and did everything by the book and seemed to have started getting better. Good enough to report back to work I did. And seemed to think any complications I was still having were a result of only being 99% healed.

Well here we are now in October and I'm still having issues. I had went back to the doctor about 2 months ago and he said he couldn't really see anything and thought that I was ok. But here two months later Things seem to be now going in the other direction. So tomorrow I have an appointment to go see the doc again. i fear the worst but actually hope for it so that we can go in and hopefully get this done right and get back to enjoing my life again.

The last 5 months has been the worst. I have had little energy and let alot of things slip that normally I would take care of...and I realize now how important Health is etc.

I fealt it neccessary to post here as I feel i've made several "friends" here and i'd let you know whats going on. I'll go in tomorrow and expect that the doctor will want to check me into the hospital most likely firday and check things out, While he's in there if he see's something, he will take care of it.

Wish me luck guys...

And i'll report back what I find out, or how i'm doing asap!

Thanks,
Brian

Good luck... I know medical issues all too well between my aging parents and myself. Do what you gotta do and take care of yourself.

Default All The Best To You

Yes ones health is definately worth takeing care of. So do take care of it. We are given only one body we cannot exchange it for a new one. I also have ageing parents in another state and a wife with ageing parents close to us here in california...Hope your stay in the hospital is short......Keep us informed.....

Yeah I don't require any surgery at this point. We are going to try the prescribed medicines/regimine and it should take care of things. I don't want to jinx myself but i feel i'm already making suttle improvement. (could be mental) Also, the nitroglyc ointment causes dizziness/headaches as they said it would, but i can hack it.

Hang in there B!

It does help put things in perspective. Too many of us take our health for granted. Few things are more important!
