Exclamation Recovering from surgery...

Thursday I checked myself into the hospital for my third, and prayerfully last, sinus operation. I don't have any pain but do have general discomfort.

Apparently my mucosa membrane was closing up again, primarily on the left side. I asked the doctor why this is it growing back. He could only shrug and tell me, "What can I say? You heal really well." Curse this Superman DNA. (That is the manly Christopher Reeve type DNA, not the namby pamby Brandon Routh type.)

I do need prayer that I heal but do not close up again. The good news is I am bleeding very little and still have my sense of smell. Rest is still difficult for me. I may be sleeping any time of day or night. Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.

Imagine my shock when I found out I indeed bleed red! Plus some other colors I won't mention. I look forward to getting out of this Zombie state. I can't find a good brain for jack around here! Everyone must have bought HD DVD!

I have seen dozens of replies go to some absolutely stupid threads. But only two well wishers to a guy recovering from his THIRD serious sinus surgery?

Did I make light of it too much? Now I see how much respect I get around here.

A prayer for healing has been said for you. Hope you feel better soon.

Now what's this about Superman? I thought Tron was a security program?

Hope you're beginning to feel better. I've known a few people who have had this done and have this to look forward to myself.

Take it easy for a few days and watch some movies. and get well soon.

Sorry, buddy. I've been absent from the boards lately thanks to a bout of sinusitis/middle ear infection of my own that has turned me all but deaf for the last week. Not even CLOSE to your condition, but it's kept me from doing most things I enjoy.

Of course I'll say a prayer for you! Feel better soon, and keep us updated on your condition.

PS... maybe your thread title should be "DTS-HD MA is not as important as saying a prayer for Tron3". That usually guarantees a bunch of replies!

does not sound like an injury, more of a physiological problem

If anyone on the forums has sympathy for you here it is me.

(however was for a differen't problem)

Hopefully you have a specialist dealing with you now.

My mistake was having a general vascular surgeon hack job me 3 times before i said, F THIS!!!! and got a specialist. The specialist took care of it the first time!

Left me wanting the previous year and a half of suffering back!

Best wishes,
Brian

If that is what it takes, but that is not my problem. This IS a specialist I am seeing with about 35 years surgical experience. He's operated on me all three times. But, I closed back up and created issues I won't go into.

However, my ability to breath is MUCH improved since the first operation. This is just getting redundant now. The blood flow seems to be drying up. So that increases my comfort.
