Lost Boys remake set for the CW

I thought CW wanted to be PC and make them females instead I was wondering if it was going to be Lost Girls lol which would not work because of a SyFy series with the same name.

Between that and the pilot being directed by the director of Twilight, I've got at least one foot out the door. I actually liked Twilight, but this isn't supposed to be like that.

Not sure why all the hate for CW... let's be honest, it'll last longer on CW and they've actually had better shows than 85-90% of the big four the past few years.

You are right for the most part, but my personal issue with The CW right now is they seem to want to force emotional drama into everything right now. Even what should be their light comic book shows like Supergirl are borderline depressing right now because they want to focus on the drama rather than actually have any fun like it should be. Well, that and the extremely heavy handed social/political statements this season.

I'm guessing the biggest reservation people will have with this being on The CW would be that they would be afraid they would turn it into something aimed at teenage girls. That is not what The Lost Boys should be, but it's a little much to pass judgement on it before it's even made. It'd be nice if it was more aimed at adults like Nikita was.

To be fair, the only thing that could be aimed at teenage girls right now is Riverdale, All American, and Legacies, and that's probably mostly because of the high school aspects and their ages, not because of the actual subject matter. Nothing on CW is as kiddie as it used to be.

Plus, everybody acts like CW is the only network that injects the relationship drama into scenarios that don't need it, but that's what all shows do in some way or another. CW is just more up front about it. Even with that, I still stand by that CW is better than 85-90% of other networks.

Agreed, early seasons were great stuff. Then they got really bad later on.

So maybe... just maybe this won't turn into complete crap. At least for a couple seasons.
