Just wondering... been reading on here and it sounds like if you want to achieve 1080P/24 correctly refreshed at 120HZ frame rate on this model TV that the "Motion Enhancer" and the "Motion Naturalizer" both needs to be turned off. Is this correct? Also can a person only get the 120hz frame rate with only a Blu-Ray DVD? I'm just wondering if through satelitte TV will also give me that? Just bought this over the week-end and I want to make sure I getting the best picture I can.

Official Sony KDS-XXA3000 OWNER'S THREAD!
>>Sony KDS-XXA3000<< Settings/Tweaks thread - OWNERS ONLY! Both on AVS. Great threads. TONS of info!! Subscribe to them and you be a very happy owner. I myself put Motion enhancer on Standard and Motion Naturalizer on Off... Motion enhancer on high makes people look like they are made of playdough and Motion naturalizer puts this weird flicker on the set. Cinemotion is the 120hz and you can get that on hidef 1080i tv reception. I set that on Auto 2 P.S. Sorry about the Cowboys... ![]() |

Whoops...sorry it took so long to reply...I forgot about this thread..
Well...if I understand your question..just push the Home button..scroll over and down to Video Options and Picture settings...all the information you need are in these two spots. Picture settings will allow you to adjust contrast, sharpness, Hue and one of the most important..taking it off Vivid and onto Standard. in the Video options menu, you can adjust Motion Enhancer, Cinemotion(120Hz setting) and such.. most of the avid posters in that settings thread have posted their setups..one is even an ISF calibrator...I enjoy reading his settings. Good luck..hope I have been more enlightening than confusing. I will keep track of this thread if you have any more questions. |
