Default Cool and professional people love Blu-ray

I went to pick up Cris at BB today since his Land Rover is in the shop and arrived early so I just stood back and watched the people who where buying hd dvd (about 3) and blu-rays (about 15) in a 45 min span. Without a doubt I can now tell who is an hd dvd fan and who is a Blu-Ray fan.

Everybody buying hd dvd looked like some dorky kid that lives in his moms basement. Almost all buying blu-rays looked either like professionals or cool individuals.

So here is my observation:

Dork= hd dvd
Not a dork= Blu-ray

Well, you could add a beer or two to the equation and maybe you wouldn't like a dork with those beer goggles. Haha. ^^

Haha. Reminds me of my University days when fraternity members would have new initiates drink O'Douls and watch them pretend to get drunk off of it.

I bet they play D'n'D, carry around a phanny pack, don't support the NFL or any sport and are as overweight as those ones who live with their mom's like you said. Blu is for the cool, not for nerds, geeks, dorks and foureyeses (no offence to anyone with glasses, just the nerdy looking ones).

Well, after reading your post, I'm leaning towards a new equation:

HD DVD = Dorks
Blu-Ray = D*cks

But maybe I shouldn't be ******** and stereotype people, but as a Blu-Ray owner, my equation does give the option of being a d*ck.

Sorry, this is a complete ******* thread and anyone here who seriously wants to sit here and create stereotypes falls right into that ******* group.

Let's face it, the fact that any of us come to a Blu-Ray website to post comments pretty much makes us all complete dorks just on that basis alone.

Dangit, we really need a thumbs up smiley. Couldn't have said it better myself. Everyone here is pretty much a geek/dork when it comes to technology so let's all just think about that for a moment...savor it.

Plus, every time I step into a Best Buy it's always some pimple faced 13 year old at the Blu-ray section picking up movies...does that mean that only young teens with a PS3 are buying movies? No, I would think not.

Well I am not sure of you was joking or not but I guarantee you I have a whole other side to my life than blu-ray.com. I love coming here but I also have my other side.

I've seen that video before and the guy is an idiot. If I'm not mistaken, I think there is actually a video blog that he made while washing himself in the bathtub too!!! What kind of person needs to get attention by video blogging in the damn bathtub?!?!?! I wonder if his mom locks him in the house to protect him from the world or if it's of his own perogative that he remains secluded from human contact.
