Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People should come out on PS3, shouldn't it? We're pretty certain that the PS3 audience is both cool and attractive. The episodic adventure based on popular Flash site Homestar Runner, is heading towards WiiWare later next month. However, TellTale's marketing guru, Emily Morganti told Joystiq that Strong Bad could arrive on PSN as well. "Maybe down the line," she told Joystiq, "but for now we're focusing on WiiWare and the PC ... we'd like to be on all of these at some point. They're all great platforms for episodic content. WiiWare just happens to be the one we're venturing onto first." We're pretty certain a PSN/XBLA version of Cool Game for Attractive People would be rather lucrative for the publisher. With a larger audience hungry for HD Strong Bad, we're hoping the PSN port comes sooner, rather than later. omg yes please! i'll take the penny arcade game as well, thank you |

![]() Don't count on the Penny Arcade game showing up on the PS3 anytime soon. The game uses the Torque engine, which last I heard was not friendly to the PS3's architecture so only the Microsoft folks will be able to play (Windows and XBox specifically). Which just dropped Penny Arcade on my respect level a couple of notches since this just gives us PS3 owners a cold shoulder. ![]() |

The story is that the makers of the Torque engine approached Sony about making a PS3 port of the engine and got the cold shoulder from Sony; apparently this was in the pre-launch days of the PS3 when Sony thought they were going to rule the gaming world by default. A year and a half later, the only progress is Rocketmen uses the Torque engine on the PS3, but apparently either Capcom or the Rocketmen devs had to port the engine themselves. No word on if the engine port will be available to everyone else using it. |
